Carl Daniel Fox, 93, of the 1000 block of College Park Blvd., died March 31, 2009, in a local hospital. He was born in Marion, IN, and was the son of the late Daniel and Delight Fox. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine Brown Fox. He was a retired Master Gunnery Sergeant from the U.S. Marine Corps with 20 years of service and also retired as a car salesman. Carl is survived by a son, James Byron Fox; four grandchildren, Celeste Bramlett, Charisse Williams, Christian Fox and James Valentine Fox; six great grandchildren, Kelsay Bramlett, Joshua Bramlett, Jarob Bramlett, Darby Williams, Corbin Fox and Christopher Fox. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel by the Rev. John Moxley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one half hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held in the Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC on Monday at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Azalea Baptist Church, 3314 E.
