Carter, Erma (Fisher)

CARTER, Erma (Fisher) age 84 of Centerville, passed away Monday December 29, 2008. She was a graduate of Julienne High School, class of 1942. She was a very active member of St. Anthony Parish for over 50 years. Erma was a very gentle woman and a wonderful sister, wife, mom and grandma and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles E. in 1999 and her sweet great-granddaughter, Caroline Carter in 2007. Erma is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Edward Stoermer of Kettering, Ann and Marc Mescher of Centerville; three sons and daughters- in-law, Dennis and Linda Carter of Kettering, Richard Carter of Beavercreek, Donald and Sally Carter of Brookville; thirteen grandchildren, Edward (Karen), Ben (Brenda), Andrew, Steven & Kerry Carter, Jason, Jeffrey & Julie Stoermer, Kelly (John) Weber, Laura (Matt) Miracle, Matthew, Maria and Katherine Mescher; six great grandchildren, Lyndsey, Carley, Annie & Maggie Carter, Jack and Grace Weber; sister, Martha Nutini of Chicago, IL and sister-in-law, Isabel McCauley of Fredericksburg, VA. Mass of Christian Burial Monday January 5, 10:30 am, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, preceded by a prayer service at 10 am at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 2 - 6 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, envelopes available at the funeral home. Ermas family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the loving caregivers of the Arcadia unit at Heartland of Centerville. May God bless all of you.
