George Snow was a member of the Bill Hays outfit when it was wiped out at Bush Knob in Throckmorton County. The killing was done by the soldiers from Griffin and settlers or ranchmen who were with them. John Larn, John Selman and two men named Carter and possibly a cattle inspector named Beard went over there with the soldiers at the time of the killing.(Info from Bravo of the Brazos, pg.46)
