Charles Werner and Jennie Kristina Lindstrom were the parents of six children: Signe (Greenlund), Willard, Walter, Lawrence, Alice (Wage) and Florence (Ask).

A 68th wedding anniversary celebration at Hagerman Lake was given for Lawrence, 90, and Janet, 88, Lindstrom, married Sept. 6, 1930, by the couple’s children. Attending were: Bruce of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Jay of Stambaugh; Sandra of Milwaukee, Wis.; Tom and Larry, both of Lansing. The couple now resides in Stambaugh. Lindstrom was in partnership with his brother Walter in ownership of the Ford garage prior to his career in real estate and potato farming.

IRON RIVER-Lawrence and Janet Lindstrom recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary at their Brule River camp.
They were married in Stambaugh in 1930 at the home of Janet’s parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Rankin, where Willard and Irma Anderson now reside. They repeated their marriage vows in the same location on their 50th anniversary. The Rev. Rankin was the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in this area for many years. Lindstrom is still active in real estate. Prior to that he operated the Ford garage with his brother Walter.
Those in attendance were sons, Bruce of Lansing and Jay of Iron River. They have three other children, Larry of Lansing, Sandra Tegge of Clearwater, Fla. and Thomas of Flint. There are 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Lindstroms reside in Holiday, Fla. during the winter months.

IRON RIVER-Lawrence and Janet Lindstrom of Iron River and Holiday, Fla. celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2 with a reception at First Presbyterian Church.
On the actual anniversary, Sept. 6, they celebrated in Lansing with all five of their children. They also attended the wedding of their grandson John Lindstrom on Sept. 8.
Their children are Sandy, who lives in Florida, Tom of Tennessee, Jay of Iron River, and Larry and Bruce, both living in Lansing.
