Obituary Josephine Colter was born August 15 1848 in Anderson County Kentucky Died at Piedmont Oklahoma August 24 1928.
She has always been a faithful member of the Christian church taking membership when quite young.
She was married to Thomas J Crossfield in the year 1866.
To this union was born 4 children, One died in infancy. Rosa an only daughter, passed away eleven years ago. Two sons Vester and Alfred, twelve grand children, eleven great grand children are left to mourn their loss.
Funeral services were conducted from the Piedmont Baptist church Sunday afternoon by Rev Claude Hill pastor of the Christian Church at Cashion.
Interment was made at the Kansas cemetery near Piedmont.
