BOGALUSA—Edwina O'Brien Alford, 89, a native of Slidell and a life-long resident of Bogalusa, died yesterday in her home. She was a member of the Pentecost faith.
Survivors include a son, Frank A. O'Brien and his wife Jeannie of Natchez, MS; two daughters, Janice O'Brien of Bogalusa and Dollie Badeaux and her husband Joseph of Kenner; a sister, Marie Brister of Bogalusa; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Iley O'Brien and a son, James Daniel O'Brien.
Visitation will be held today from 6–10 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home and will continue tomorrow after 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service, to be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m.... Burial will be in McNeese Cemetery in Sheridan.
