He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He had been employed by I.L. Geer & Sons for 25 years as a driller and pumper, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Barb King Jennings; two daughters: Julia Larson of Clarendon and Susan Tarbox of Warren; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Jennings of Freeport, Texas; and six sisters: Dorothy Morgan of Northeast, Pa., Mary Hodges of Warren, Lois Lewis and Martha Hornstrom, both of Russell, Linda Griswald of Limestone, N.Y., and Shirley Williams of Douglas, Ga.
