Mr. Alexander "Alex" McCluney was born January 11, 1909. He was a son of the late Spencer & Laura Hames McCluney.
Alex was united in holy matrimony to the former Luetesher McKight, the couple had three daughters.
Alex was a former choir leader at the St. Luke Baptist Church in Sharon, SC. He was employed with the York School District in the Maintanance Department. Before that he worked in a Pressing Club for so many years. He was also a member of the St. John A. P. & B. Society # 20.
Mr. McCluney departed this life May 22, 1983 at Divine Savior Hospital in York, SC.
