DAVID ROMERO JR. Loving husband, father and grandfather, David Romero Jr., 72, of Las Vegas, passed away May 19, 2009. He was born Aug. 27, 1938, in New Mexico, and was a 46-year resident of Nevada.
David was a gardener and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
David is survived by his wife, Lorenzita Romero; sister, Esther Carley; children, Mario, Lisa, Joseph, Eloy, Yvonne and Lydia Romero; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, May 28, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside service will follow at 1:20 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. "Thank you, Lord Jesus for the time we had with David."
