Noah Frazier, son of S.S. and Malinda Frazier, was born in Rooks County, Kans., July 10, 1902, and died at Hadley Memorial Hospital in Hays, Kans. at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 5 days on June 15, 1968. He was raised in the Friends Church, where his father was a minister. Later he was baptized in and joined the Christian church of Oakley, Kans.
He was united in marriage to Eulalia Wolfe on May 29, 1927, in Wakeeney, Kans., and to this union three children were born, all of whom survive. Noah and Eulalia began married life in Grinnell, Kans., moving a year later to Oakley where they have resided most of their married life.
Noah was a real estate broker and owner of the Frazier Land Co. He was also a Skelly Oil jobber, farmer, and part owner of the Bloom and Frazier Auction Co. He was an active Republican, having filed as a candidate to represent the 115th district in the Kansas Legislature. As a member of the Lions club, Masons, Odd Fellows, School Board, Chamber of Commerce, and numerous other service and civic organizations, he was instrumental in the outcome of many projects undertaken for the betterment of Oakley and Logan county. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and had the further distinction of being a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor. He was also a past District governor of Lions.
To mourn his passing he leaves his wife, Eulalia, of the home, one son, John of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Larry D. Petree) of Denver, Colo. and Beverly (Mrs. Roger B. Faubion) of Hays, Kans.; and seven grandchildren.
The following brothers and sisters also survive: Harvey of Nampa, Idaho; Vernie of Bellingham, Wash., Sylvan of Los Angeles, Calif.; Rev. Mrs. Sylvia Anderson of Oberlin, Kans.; and Mrs. Margaret Brandt of League City, Texas.
His departure goes not unnoticed by countless other relatives and friends as they too feel the loss of his presence.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., June 18 in the Oakley Methodist church. Officiating was Hiram Cassel, Christian church pastor. Burial was in Oakley cemetery.-from Oakley (KS) Graphic, Th. 6-20-1968
