"Obituary and funeral home records all show she was born in Dublin, Erath County, Texas as Minnie Guest.
She married T.E. Slater on 20 August 1910 at DeLeon, Texas. The couple moved to Stamford in 1934.
Survived by two sons - L.T. and Dan Slater; one daughter - Mrs. Johnny Ollinger; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Stamford.
