Rockton - Mrs. Ada Jordan, 429 Blackhawk blvd., died at 2 a.m. Sunday in the Fossum nursing home in Beloit. She had been at the home for the lst three years.
Ada Wilford was bor July 7, 1870 at English Prairie, Wis. [Ill.], the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Wilford, and she was married to Lander Jordan on May 22, 1889. He died in 1927.
She was a member of the Old Stone Church in Rockton, its Friendship guild, the Rockton Women's club and the Rockton American Legion auxillary.
Surviving are a son, Earl P. (Ike) Jordan of Rockton; a brother Frank Wilford of La Mesa, Calif., and a half sister, Mrs. Marshall Gleasman of Rockton. Four sisters and a brother predeceased her.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer chapel in Beloit. Burial will be in the Rockton cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the mortuary.
