BLEDSOE (Special) - Services for Ada Maurine Brown, 75, of Bledsoe will be at 2 p.m. MDT Sunday in the Tatum, N.M., First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bill Constantine and Lewis Crenshaw Officiating.
Burial will be in Tatum Cemetery under direction of Smith-Rogers Funeral Home of Lovington, N.M.
She died at 7 a.m. Friday in her residence after an illness.
She was born in DeLeon County and moved to the Bledsoe area in 1940. She married James Garland Brown on Sept. 22, 1933, in Wingate. She was a member of Tatum's First United Methodist Church, the church's Rural Circle and the Cactus Cowbelles.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Don of Bayfield, Colo.; three brothers, Doyl Grisham of Abilene, Pete Grisham of Wingate and Tolbert Grisham of Big Spring; a sister, Totsie Cook of Weatherford; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
