BLEVINS, Andrew Jack Of Middletown passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born August 1, 1924 in Bath County, Kentucky to James and Florence (Keith) Blevins. Andrew served in the US Army during WWII, worked at Armco as a rigger for 42 years retiring in 1986, was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 57 years, a member of the Lincoln Lodge # 693 of Middletown. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Judy Gail Blevins; brother, Thomas Blevins and sisters, Carrie Faulkner and Edna Holler. Andrew is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ramona J. "Pete" Blevins; daughter, Celia (Bill) Hall; grandchildren, Courtney Taulbee, Aaron Hall, Isaiah Hall all of Chautauqua, Ohio; foster daughter, Diane Lewis of Jackson, Kentucky; sisters, Mae Brandenburg of Middletown, Bette Ballard of Florida; brother, James (Ruth) Blevins of Middletown; sister-in-law Mary Blevins of Carlisle, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, September 21, 2007 from 12:00 to 2:00 at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Howard Sears and Rev. Lynn Gordon officiating. Interment will be at Mt Pleasant Cemetery at Poastown, Ohio with military rights with the Middletown Combined Honor. (Middletown Journal (OH) - September 19, 2007)
