Born in Monroe County,she was the daughter of the late James T. and Estella(Hale)Ford,and the wife of the late Herman Holcomb.
Surviving are two sons,James Earl Holcomb, Red Boiling Springs,Tenn.,and John Ivan Holcomb,Gamaliel;three sisters,Beulah Harlin,Coppell,Tex.;Bessie Creek,Woodburn; and Anna Hayes,Hysham,Mont.There are six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Gamaliel Baptist Church,with Bro. Jerry Anderson officiating.Serving as pallbearers were J. T. Fultz, Travis Walden,Mike and Anthony Holcomb,Dwane Robinson and James Earl Holcomb,Jr.
