WINNSBORO, May 4 (Special) — Mary Nordin Tibbs, 82, of Baskin, died at 6:55 a.m. today in a Monroe hospital.
She is survived by her husband, J. C. Tibbs, Baskin; four daughters, Mrs. R. C. Jones, Epps, Mrs. Cora Sproles, Lawton, Okla., Mrs. Mary Campbell, Baskin, and Mrs. Nick Evans, Baskin; a son, William Tibbs, Dunn; 29 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at The First National Funeral Home chapel here with the Rev. Robert Houston officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Kenneth Ragsdale. Interment will follow in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William F., J. C. and Leonard Tibbs, and Virgil Sproles, Ray Sproles and R. F. Jones.
