My Uncle Lloyd Dilts Brown was the second oldest of five sons born to Lloyd Dilts Sr.(1886-1966) and Edna Mae Burns(1889-1964). Born in Pennsylvania to a long line of Irishmen that farmed in Armstrong and Indiana Counties in Pa. Lloyd's siblings were, Frank, Kenneth, James and Tom.
The family moved to Cleveland, Ohio when Lloyd was very young so his father could work in the steel mills.
Lloyd married Hazel M. Latimer(1912-1972) 11 Dec 1936 in Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. They would settle in the Cleveland, Ohio area where they raised 2 children: Robert Lloyd and Jeanne Francis(1939-1990).
After Hazel died on 6 Aug 1972 Lloyd would remarry Joan Schupp Hogan. They were married until his death.
Lloyd died in 1991 and is laid to rest along side his wife Hazel who died in 1972. They are both buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
