FORT WORTH - Claude Edwin Dodd, a retired TV technician for Sears Roebuck and Co., died Monday at a Fort Worth nursing home. He was 79.
Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hugh M. Moore & Sons Funeral Home in Arlington.
Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
The family will receive friends from noon to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Dodd was born in Ola and had lived in Fort Worth for 55 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Dodd's first wife, Thelma Jane Dodd, died in 1979
Survivors: Wife, Venetia Dodd of Fort Worth; daughter, Sheryl Jane Gilbert of Highlands; stepson, David Huber of Houston; stepdaughter, Cora Ann Brown of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada; two brothers, Vernon Dodd of Fort Worth and James Wallace Dodd of Spring; two sisters, Juanita Vanderhule of Plano and Christine Ellis of Ola; and four grandchildren.
