Funeral services for Benjamin Adams, 68, of 8 1/2 South Wayne Avenue, Columbus, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Piketon Church of Christ, with burial following in Mound Cemetery in Piketon, under the direction of the Hill Funeral Home of Kingston. Friends called at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday, and at the Piketon Church after 1 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Adams died Thursday in Mt. Carmel Hospital in Columbus. A former Piketon resident, he was also a former employee of the Chillicothe Paper Company. A native of Pike County, he was born on March 10, 1905 in Piketon, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Adams. Surviving are two sons, Ben L. Adams and John D. Adams, both of Columbus; three grandchildren and one great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Gilmore of Piketon, and one brother, Mart Adams of Beaver.
