Faircloth Palmer, age 49, died unexpectedly at his home in Tallahassee, Fla. A native of Mitchell County, he had lived in Tallahassee since 1936. He was an employee of the Florida State Highway Department, Mr. Palmer was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Robert Butler Masonic Lodge in Tallahassee.
Mr, Palmer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maydee Smith Palmer, a son, Van Faircloth and two daughters, Miss Libby Dee and Julia Eloise; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Palmer; three brothers, Lloyd, Elmo and Dr. Waldo; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Carlisle and Mrs. Bob Simas.
