Born in West Hartford, daughter of the late Anthony and Venuta (Plate) Guglielmetti, she was a lifelong resident of West Hartford.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Sears Department Store for over 30 years and she was a communicant of St. Brigid Church, West Hartford.
Madeline was the loving mother of Marsha Dube of New Britain. She also leaves three sisters and a brother-in-law, Jennie Malvicini of West Hartford, Catherine Hlavsa of Newington and Roslyn and Alessio Gizzi of Newington; a sister-in-law, Mary Zuella of Waterbury; two grandsons, Matthew L. Dube of Plainville and David R. Dube of New Britain and a nephew, John Gizzi and his wife, Colleen of Washington, DC. Madeline was predeceased by a sister, Mary Webb.
Funeral procession will be on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford.
A visitation will begin a 8:30 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass at the Funeral Home.
