FINAL RITES FRIDAY FOR W. F. MATHEWS

Funeral services for W. F. Mathews, 65, who died Tuesday morning at the residence, 747 Capitol avenue, following an extended illness, will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Christian church. The Rev. C. R. Stauffer will officiate and interment will be in Oakland cemetery.

Mr. Mathews is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. W. Scott Bell, of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. C. F. Parrish, and Mrs. Roy G. McClure, both of Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. G. W. Cathy, of McDonough, Ga.; and a niece, Miss Annie Lou Mathews, of Atlanta. H. M. Patterson & Son are in charge of arrangements.

William Franklin Matthews was a grocer in Atlanta. He married Nancy Victoria Clark on 23 Dec 1885 in DeKalb County, Georgia. They had just three daughters, Kate (Mrs. Walter Scott Bell), Dessa (Mrs. Charles F. Parrish), and Helen (Mrs. Roy G. McClure).
