Greene County, Missouri Cemeteries Hazelwood Cemetery Volume XI by Ozarks Genealogical Society page 372 " BOOKWOOD, James died 11 Apr 1937 ae 71 yr "

He does not have any monument. The second shot of the length of the public grounds he would be about midways across from the curve. The first shot moved about down to the curve area, he would be to the left.

Missouri death certificate # 16389 that James had to go to the transient camp for those that had illness, it was located just south of Springfield and the Nuns/nurses from St. John's or at the time was called Sisters of Mercy would go to the camp and quarentine themselves to help those there. His occupation was farmhand, male, single. He came to the transient camp of May 5 and did not know for sure how long he had the illness. Parents listed unknown. Informant Records from camp. H H Lohmeyer was the funeral home. Interred in Hazelwood Cemetery April 12, 1937.

Suggested edit January 14, 2021:
What I have is that his is family. The death certificate is correct. Please see the memorial of his, James Ralph Rookwood (linked to this memorial), where you can read his son's three published obituaries, his son's death certificate, his son's headstone, ALL with his last name Rookwood. I searched for an obit for this James R. Rookwood, but could not locate. What a cemetery's records say has no bearing on what Find a Grave memorials say. It's simply a source, an important one sometimes, but there are five primary sources for you to look at to determine you choice. Hope that helps.
Blessings,

Note:
Because this information was sent changed the name from Rockwood to Rookwood. But do take into account I do not agree with cemetery record has no bearing on Findagrave. Should you call in with an incorrect name you may be told by the cemetery office that person is not there. In a case like this if you explain the name spellings then they can look up the other spelling. Should family need to call the cemetery office please explain the issue. They are a wonderful group and they all love the Findagrave site and go out of their way to help me make these memorials correct.
