He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church. Mr. Worley established Worley Machine Shop in 1931 on Hwy 25-N and was still operating the machine shop at the same location alone with his son Harold Worley, at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Nola Cox Worley of Williamsburg; daughter, Jessie Mae Martin and husband, Vernon of Bowling Green; son, Harold Worley and wife, Loretha of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Dan Martin of Bowling Green, John Martin of Owensboro and Rebecca Witt of
Owensboro; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Angel and husband, Otis of Williamsburg and Flossie Smith and husband, Arnold of Deland, Florida; brother, Everett Worley, Jr. and wife, Cecil of Orange City, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 29 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox and Rev. Joe Burnett officiating. Burial was in the Worley Cemetery in Williamsburg.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Witt, Dan Martin, John Martin, Dillard Angel, Sid Strunk and Elmer Sutton
