Elsie Marie Nott George, age 98, died July 20, 1991.

She was born November 24. 1892 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas Henry Nott, Jr. and Agnes Kilpatrick McDonald. Married Marr D. Simons; divorced. Married Arley Call George, February 14, 1917 in Blackfoot, Idaho. Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 25, 1924. She was a member of the LDS Church and a member of the DUP. She taught Primary and Sunday School for 35 years. She served as ward Primary president, and sang in the ward choir. She served many years as a visiting teacher in the Relief Society.She is survived by eight children, Ruth S. McIntyre, Centerville; Carol Olsen, Magna; Floyd, Rupert, Idaho; DeWayne and Leo, Magna; Rhea Stanger, Roy; Steven, Vernal; Robert, Bountiful; 53 grandchildren, 188 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Arley and two children, Arley Wallace George and Helen Stanger.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 26 July, 1991, at 11 a.m. in the Bountiful 10th LDS Ward Chapel, 1145 N. 200 E. Bountiful. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and at the chapel 9:30-10:40 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
