NAMES: Effie (Taylor) Mitchell Boyer Cromeans
Effie is the daughter of Magdaline "Maggie" & George Taylor. Her father, George, died in 1903 when Effie was approx. 5 yrs of age. Effie had only one full biological sister, Dorothy, who lived to adulthood. But she enjoyed life with many siblings from her Mom's second marriage. Effie was a kind hearted, independent and fun loving red haired Texan. She married Andrew Jackson Mitchell.
To their union seven children were born.

After the death of Andrew,1962, Effie studied to receive her first Texas Driver's License at age 65. Her niece, Zelma Sheffield Cox (Dorothy's daughter), enjoyed fun time together while giving her Aunt Effie many lessons in parallel parking and driving in general. She passed the test and happily went on with her joyful life free to drive wherever she pleased.
Effie's 2nd marriage was to Lee Boyer until his death 1970. She was buried under the last name of her 3rd marriage to Joe Cromeans but buried near Lee Boyer.
