Alice3 Skolfield (Clement2, Thomas1) was born 15 November 1782; married James Dunning,
son of Andrew Dunning and Margaret Miller Ransom, on 29 September 1803 in Harpswell, Maine. She
died 30 May 1819, and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brunswick. There is, however, a note in the
reading of the Maquoit Cemetery that she is buried there with her husband.
James Dunning was born in 1769 in York, Maine; married, second, Elizabeth T. Elkins after 1819.
There were three children born to this marriage. He died 19 February 1837, and was buried in Pine Grove
Cemetery, Brunswick, although the reading of the Maquoit Cemetery lists him buried there.
He is listed as a drummer in Capt. Johnson's Company of Harpswell men in 1814.
The children of Alice3 Skolfield and James Dunning were:

i. Andrew Dunning was born December 1805; married Harriet Pennell.

ii. Caroline C. Dunning was born in 1806 in Brunswick, Maine; died 27 November 1833 in
Topsham, Maine, and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brunswick, although she is listed in the reading of the Maquoit Cemetery in Brunswick.

iii. Samuel T. Dunning was born in 1810 in Brunswick, Maine; died 8 June 1886 in Topsham, Maine, and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brunswick. There is a note in
the reading of the Maquoit Cemetery and he is, in this reading, called Captain. He was called Master Samuel as he was a master shipbuilder at the old Maquoit homestead. An
expert craftsman and highly skilled, he helped build and sail the Skolfield ships.

iv. Mary Ann Dunning was born 2 September 1812; married James P. Hunt.

v. James Harvey Dunning was born 19 May 1815; married Mary Jane Dunlap.
