"Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal" Tupelo, Mississippi 5 August 2005. JEAN SUMMERS Belden - Jean Summers, 76, died suddenly Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. An Itawamba native, she was born Aug. 27, 1928, to the late Darwyn and Pauline Robbins Young. She was a member of the Belden Baptist Church. She was the former owner of Two Sisters Dress Shop in Tupelo and Jean's Beauty Shop. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Don Baggett and Bro. Owen Riddick officiating. Burial will be in Belden Cemetery. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, W. T. Summers of Belden; two sons, David Summers and wife, Janice, of Tupelo, and Walt Summers and wife, Ginger, of Belden; a daughter, Janice Leach of Belden; three brothers, J. D. Young and wife, Janice, of Tupelo, Paul Young and wife, Laura, of Starkville, and Robin Young and wife, Madelyn, of Hot Springs Valley, Ark; two sister, Ann Rodgers of Conway, Ark, and Carolyn Davidson and husband, Jesse, of Hatley; nine grandchildren, Chad Leach, Dana Langley and husband, Joseph, Ryan Summers and wife, Angela, Mark Summers and wife, Amanda, Shawn, Landon, and Chris Summers, and Katie and Clay Taylor; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joe Young; and a sister, Joyce Comer. Pallbearers will be Danny Roebuck, Stacy Summers, Mike and Doug Comer, Price Young and Tony Young. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Belden Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 92, Belden, MS 38826
