Mrs. Frank Snavely, 67, native of Whetstone Township, Crawford county, died suddenly at her home in Oceola Friday at 6:45 p.m. Death was due to heart trouble and complication, she being bedfast only two days.

Mrs. Hattie Kester Snavely was born in Whestone township June 1, 1873. She was the daughter of Jacob and Emma Kester and moved with her family to Holmes township when she was 8 years of age.

Her marriage to Frank Snavely took place Nov. 19, 1896, and the couple lived north of Oceola until four year age. Then they moved to their present residence in Oceola. .

Mrs. Snavely is survived by her husband, and two children, Mr. Elton Scott and Mrs. Willard Daiber, both living near Oceola, and two grandchildren. Two children died in infancy. She also leaves one brother, James Kester of Bucyrus.

Friends may call any time at the family home after Sunday noon.

Funeral services will be held at the family home in Oceola Monday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be made in Nevada cemetery.
