--Frank Staar, passed away at East Hollywood, Cal., Oct. 4, 1940, husband of the late Wilhelmina Staar, father of Mrs. George Kersten, Mrs. August B. Lambert, Mrs. Charles Lustig, Rudolph, Hans, and Henry Staar, also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. At chapel, 5501 N. Ashland avenue, after 10 a.m. Monday, where services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. Burial Rosehill.

Funeral services for Frank Staar, pioneer Chicago sheet metal and roofing contractor, who died in his home at East Hollywood, Cal., Friday, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel at 5501 North Ashland avenue, Mr. Staar, who was 82 years old, was president of the Frank Staar & Sons company at 1473 North Halsted street. Surviving are three sons, Rudolph, Hans, and Henry Staar; three daughters, Mrs. George Kersten, Mrs. August B. Lambert, and Mrs. Charles Lustig; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
