Harry Mullin was born July 15, 1858 in Ontario, Canada. He was the son of William and Olivia (Johnson) Mullin. He was by occupation a blacksmith.
MILITARY RECORD:
Enlisted May 20, 1878 in Buffalo, New York. Assigned to Company "C" of 10th U.S. Infantry. Discharged with rank of Private on May 19, 1883. A pension was awarded on Certificate No. 1641,106.
He was separated from his wife when he applied for membership in the Washington Veterans' Home in Retsil in 1930. He was then 72 years of age. He had four children: Oliver and George Harry of Moosomin, Sask., Gladys Dickerman of Kirkland, Washington, and W. V. Mullin of Cloverdale, British Columbia.
He died August 31, 1933 at the V.A. Hospital in Portland, Oregon. He was buried in the Retsil Veterans' Home Cemetery on Septmeber 2, 1933.
