McGee was born near Scotts Mills and spent his entire life in this community. For the past few years he has been living in the Silver Falls district.
Surviving are the widow, Louise McGee, two daughters, Laura McGee of Macleay and Mrs. Mabel Wodzewoda, of Salem and one son, William McGee; four sisters, Mrs. George Angenson, Salem; Mrs. Lora Besmer, Seattle; Mrs. Charles Rienke, Salem, and Miss McGee, of Salem. One brother, Richard McGee, lives at Grande Ronde.
