Life Crushed From Logger For Camp 15—Fred McGee, 44, was caught by a rolling log and almost instantly killed while loading logs at Camp 15 of the Silver Falls lumber Company late Monday afternoon. His body was badly crushed. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
McGee was born near Scotts Mills and spent his entire life in this community. For the past few years he has been living in the Silver Falls district.
Surviving are the widow, Louise McGee, two daughters, Laura McGee of Macleay and Mrs. Mabel Wodzewoda, of Salem and one son, William McGee; four sisters, Mrs. George Angenson, Salem; Mrs. Lora Besmer, Seattle; Mrs. Charles Rienke, Salem, and Miss McGee, of Salem. One brother, Richard McGee, lives at Grande Ronde.
