Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He entered the US Army in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He served as a Corporal in Company D, 8th US Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for action at Red Creek, Arizona Territory, on September 23, 1869. His citation reads "Gallantry in action."

Gravesite Details

The original interment was in Duwamish Poor Farm Cemetery, Seattle. Later removed to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Seattle. Duwamish Cemetery interments were all removed around 1912.
