OBITUARY:
Geneva Goodin, 85, of Woodbine, passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at Oak Tree Hospital. She was a member of the Corn Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lonzo E. Goodin, parents Uriah and Dona Petrey; four sisters; Madge Mitchell, Gladys Stinson, Nella Petrey, Mossie Bishop, all of Woodbine; and one granddaughter, Rhonda Goode of Lansing, Tenn.
She is survived by one son, Earl Goodin of Woodbine; one daughter, Anna and James R. Worley of Corbin; one grandson, James P. and Leslie Worley of Lancaster; five granddaughters, Tina and Lonnie McCoy of Lexington, Tish and Dave Williams of Arlington, Texas, Kelli and Eugene Paul fo Woodbine, Krystal Collett of Woodbine and Tina and Jimmy Walters of Corbin; six great-grandsons, Dylon and Jacob Worley, Mason McCoy, Aaron Williams, Austin Paul and Cody Collett; and six great-granddaughters, Abbey Worley, Adrianna Paul and Jenny Collett, Kristen Carter, Heather and Shelby Walters; two brothers, Clifford and Glenda Petrey, Clinton and Nancy Petrey of Woodbine.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Corn Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Decker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Petrey Family Cemetery adjoining Corn Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today (Wednesday0 at O'Neil Funeral Home, and from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Corn Creek Baptis Church or the American Cancer Society.
