Death Summons Mrs. Hoffman End Comes Early Tuesday
Evening; Funeral to Be at Lutheran Home
Mrs. Fredericka Hoffman, of the oldest inmates in point of
years spent at the home, died at the Lutheran Old People's home
on the Burlington road at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Hoffman has been in poor health for about six months
become serious until several days ago.
Mrs. Hoffman was born in Germany,
Oct. 24, I860, the daughter of Henry and Christiana Heiter
Sleischmann. She came to the United States in 1887. She was
married, April 22, 18S9. to Ludwig Hoffman and he died at
the Lutheran home, Sept, 19, 1921. Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman
entered the home Dec. 11, 1911, coming here from Chicago.
Surviving is a daughter Mrs. Anna Johnson of Chicago when Mrs.
Hoffman visted recently.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home at
2 o'clock Friday afternoon by the Rev. William Klein.
Burial will be in the home cemetery. The Wittich
funeral home is in charge.

2 o'clock this afternoon by Rev. William Klein.
