Mrs. Oga Curless, 70, of Vermont, Illinois, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. She was the daughter of Edward and Emma Jarnagin Shaw. Oga married Clyde Curless on March 15, 1919, in Lewistown, Illinois. She was survived by her husband Clyde, a son, Homer Curless and a daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Genevieve) Burton, both of Peoria; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three brothers, Otis and Daniel Shaw of Peoria, and Noah Shaw of Chicago. A brother and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Curless was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held in the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont. The Rev. Betram Betteridge officiated and burial was in the Vermont Cemetery. (Bio by Kate).
