Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Lee Winningham, 94, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Hatcher Hall Cemetery with Bro. Paul Stringer officiating.

Mrs. Winningham died Tuesday, December 30 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a custodian at Pucketts Furniture and a member of First United Pentacostal Church.

Born March 3, 1909, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Tim and Becky (Kennedy) Allred. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Winningham; four sons, Alphas Winningham, Willie Andrew Winningham, Duane Winningham, and Tim Winningham; two daughters, Omagene Garrett and Opal Keisling; a brother, Alfred Allred; three sisters, Ava Wisdom, Colva Winningham, and Grace (Flowers) Reeder; a grandson, Danny Garrett; a granddaughter, Teresa Carr; and a great grandson, William Michael Keisling.

Survivors include five grandsons, Archie B. Winningham, Duane Winningham, and Donald Winningham, all of Cookeville, James Garrett of Detroit, MI, and Michael Keisling of Vandervoort, AR; five granddaughters, Patty Maul-ding of Monterey, Becky Wheatley, Pam Boswell, and Vickie Monday, all of Cookeville, and Kathy Vearce of Elkton, KY; 20 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Archie Winningham, Duane Winningham, Michael Keisling, Chuck Norris, Matt Hill, and Josh Maulding.
