New information - according to his daughter, Eliza Janes's death certificate - Christian Gingerich was born on the Atlantic Ocean.
m. 23 Apr 1861 to Mary Jane (Miller) in Butler Co.

Cemetery service date was 25 March 1911. Christian was 80 years old when he passed; Dav. M. Gingerich made the arrangements.

Census records indicate he was a keeper (?) of a sawmill and a carpenter.

His wife, Mary; grandson - Ralph and Ralph's wife, Lorena are buried near his grave. My records indicate their children were: Elizabeth, Mary Ellen, Clement V., George P., Eliza Jane, Mina A., David N. Gingerich. Their 8 children were all born in OH.
