MOUNT CORY---Dorothy Williams, 81, formerly of
County Road 37, Mount Cory, died at 6 a.m. Sunday
at Winebrenner Village, where she had lived since
March 1989.
Mrs. Williams was born May 18, 1909 in Tiffin to
Harry F. and Maude (Homan) Cook. She married
Wayne C. Williams on Aug. 29, 1930[sic/1931], and
he died June 5, 1983.
Surviving are three sons, Wayne Williams Jr. and
Kenneth Williams, both of Tampa, Fla.; Richard, of
Findlay; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Betty Jean) Lucas,
Benton Ridge; 11 grand-children; three great-grand-
children; and a sister, Florence Sharp, Whitehall, Mich.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday
at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Bluffton
Chapel, the Rev. James E. Sargent officiating. Burial
will be in Clymer Cemetery, near Mount Cory.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and
until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral
home.
