Mrs. Anton Zwack Dies at 90 Years, Rites Wednesday
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Holy Trinity Church for Mrs. Juliana Zwack, 90, widow of Anton Zwack, who died Sunday at 8:50 p.m. at the home of her son Dan east of Royalton.
The Rev. P. A. Kuick officiated at the rites at 10 a.m., and burial was made in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were six of her grandchildren, Peter Zwack, John Zwack, Vincent Zwack, Lawrence Zwack, and Louis Czech.
Mrs. Zwack's death occurred on her 90th birthday anniversary. She was born in Poland Jan. 2, 1854.
She came to the United States in 1874 and married Anton Zwack in 1876 after living in Two Rivers for two years. They lived at Opole until 1910 when they moved to Royalton; remaining here until 1924 when they returned to Opole.
In 1934 Mr. and Mrs. Zwack returned here to live with their son Dan. Mr. Zwack died in 1942.
Surviving are six children; Joseph, Salina, Calif.; Frank and Louis, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Mike Czech, rice; and Dan and Stanley (Tony), Royalton. There are 51 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
