Casper Glattfelder, immigrant of his family, born July 25, 1709 in Glattfelden, Eglisau, Zurich, Switzerland arrived on the ship "Francis and Elizabeth." Docked August 30, 1743 at Philadelphia, where oaths of allegiance were administered. Widow of John Peter (Hans Peter) accompanied Casper to America. He died in Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania in 1775.
