Humphrey's obituary was published in the Saguache "Crescent," Thursday, December 27, 1928, p. 1.

"OBITUARY

Humphrey Fullerton was born Oct. 29, 1876. [He] was reared and educated in his home town, Saguache. Nine years ago he left Saguache and located at Dolores, Colorado, where he resided until his death.

When but a youth he married Miss Phillip[s]. To this union four children were born, Mrs. W. G. Beaber of Fowler, Colo., Lawrence H. Fullerton of Chicago, Ill., Miss Viola Fullerton of Monte Vista, Colorado, and Miss Freda Myrtle Fullerton, who makes her home with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Crowley of Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Crowley, Mrs. Harris, Mrs. Ham and Mrs. Curtis, and one brother, Mr. James B. Fullerton.

While not a member of any particular sect, he was a Christian and lived the Golden Rule. He was reared in a Christian home by parents who have gone on before."

Mrs. W. F. Crowley was his oldest sister, Mary (Fullerton) Crowley. Mrs. Ham was was his sister, Sarah (Fullerton) Ham. His sister Emily was Mrs. Harris and Anna [Feliciana] was Mrs. Guy Curtis.
