Mary L. Watson, 74, 08 May 1927 of Empire died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at St. Vincent's Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Dilworth Church of Christ Cemetery. She was a member of Dilworth Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Watson. She is survived by one son, Stanley A. Watson Sr. and his wife, Linda F. of Haleyville; two daughters, Brenda Willingham and her husband, Ricky of Cordova, and Linda Kaye Woods and her husband, Dennis of Empire; one brother, A. W. Yarobrough of Warrior; two sisters, Gertie Hayes and Dutch Akins, both of Cordova; six grandchildren, Gena Unger, Stan Watson Jr., Malarie Sargent, Jeremy Willingham, LeAnn Woods and Jason Woods; and three great-grandchildren, Jentson Hiller, Hannah Watson and Braxton Sides.
