George A. Scott, 66 years old, former Sedalian, died Friday night at his home, 2809 Baltimore, Kansas City, MO, of a heart attack. The Scott family left Sedalia eight years ago for Kansas City, Mr. Scott was a machinist for the Missouri Pacific railroad when in Sedalia. Surviving are his wife, Julia Scott, and a daughter, Miss Ruth Scott, of the home, three sons, Cpl. George M. Scott, in France: Sgt. William R. Scott, Puerto Rico; and Lieut. Robert Scott, in a hospital in England and three sisters, Mrs. A. B. Wiggans and Mrs. W. G. Wegman, Chanute, KS and Mrs. A. Curtis, Hollywood, CA. Funeral Services will be held in Kansas City at 1:00 o'clock Monday afternoon and the body will be brought to Sedalia, where graveside services will be held at Calvary cemetery about 4 o'clock with Re.v J. A. Biter pastor of the St. Patrick's church to officiate. Pallbearers will be Pat Downs, William Couhig, Walter Doble, L. Dickman, C.S. Toster and Eugene Miller.

Funeral services were held for George A. Scott, former Sedalian, who died at his home, 3809 Baltimore, Kansas City, MO, Friday night, at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon in Kansas City, with graveside services at Calvary cemetery in Sedalia at 4 o'clock. Rev. J.A. Biter, pastor of the St. Patrick's church officated.
Pallbearers were: Pat Downs, William Couhig, Walter Doble, L. W. Dickman, C.E. Foster and Eugene Miller.
Accompanying the body to Sedalia was a daughter of the deceased, Ruth Scott, and other relatives. Mrs. Scott, the widow, was unable to make the trip, Miss Scott returned to Kansas City immediately after the burial.
