Monetta, SC – Mrs. Grace Padgett Kirkland Seals, 87, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Seals, a native of Saluda County, was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was secretary and treasurer for 50 years.
Survivors include a son, Buddy Kirkland, Batesburg; two daughters, Helen Burkett, Leesville, and Claudene Butler, West Columbia; three stepsons, Jerry Seals, Batesburg-Leesville, Tommy Seals, Columbia, Illinois, and Jimmy Seals, Edinburg, Texas; four stepdaughters, Jewel Waters, JoAnn Clamp and Becky Seals, all of Batesburg-Leesville, and Julie Seals, Augusta; two brothers, Curtis Padgett, Batesburg, and Henry Padgett, Aiken; a sister, Cora Bell Fulmer, Saluda; and 32 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Kirkland, Terry Kirkland, Roy Butler Jr., Darren Butler, Kevin Butler, Carl Kirkland, Ron Kirkland, Bryan Kirkland, Roy Burkett, Eddie Seals, Ray Seals, Tim Waters, Craig Waters, Lawrence Padgett and Dwight Clamp.
