Rock Musician. He was the lead guitarist with the 1960's group "Paul Revere and the Raiders". The Portland, Oregon based band is most noted for the top forty hits "Just Like Me" (1965), "Kicks" (1966), "Hungry" (1966), "The Great Airplane Strike" (1966) and "Good Thing" (1966). He was born Drake Maxwell Levinshefski and raised in Boise, Idaho, where he would form the group The Surfers with Phil Volk. Following his departure from the Raiders in 1967, Levin worked with singer Lee Michaels and performed as a solo artist. He died from cancer.
