I found Lacy through the classified ads. saying "female Chihuahua for sale $75.00." i fell in love with this silly little puppy and bought her to keep my 1 year old male Chihuahua Jodie company the 2 hit it off immediately running playing wrestling all through the house.Lacy made the kids laugh she had this habit of chasing her own tail she'd run in a circle trying to catch her tail. when she was nearly a year old Lacy and Jodie became parents of 2 puppies 1 boy 1 girl i kept both. she would have 3 more litters before we had her spayed. her male offspring Jay was killed when he was struck by a car he got in the road. i kept one more of Lacy's puppy Lucy born May 6,1995. in 2007 Lacy's companion Jodie died. leaving Lacy and her 2 daughters Jane-Jane and Lucy. Lacy's health began to decline recently and it became apparent that Lacy was getting worse she began to lose weight,suffering from arthritis she wouldn't eat much and was in pain and her condition was only getting worse so on July 6 2009 we took Lacy age 16 and had her put to sleep to stop her suffering. i miss her terribly and she'll live in my heart always. she was survived by her daughters Jane-Jane age 15,and Lucy 14. she was buried beside her son Jay and companion Jodie in the back yard.on July 6, 2010 we were forced to put Lacy's daughter Lucy age 15 to sleep , she was crippled up with arthritis and could barely walk she was in constant pain and was miserable so we did the humane thing, but she is with her parents and buried next to her mother Lacy. it was a concidence that Lucy was put to sleep on the 1 year anniversary of her mother being euthanized.
