Stockton- Lyall Leroy Frazier, 79, died Wednesday, May 13, at Plainville Rural Hospital, Plainville.
He was born Oct. 14, 1907, in Woodston, to Claude and Mildred (Cooper) Frazier. He married Opal Palmer Nov. 11, 1961, in Mountain Home, Idaho. He was an engineer for Union Pacific for 33 years, retiring in 1974. He moved to Stockton in 1974 from Glenns Ferry, Idaho. He was a member of Main Street Christian Church, Stockton.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Larry L. Frazier, Terrell, Texas; one daughter, Judith Florine Pietez, Pensacola, Fla.; two stepsons, James Miller, Broken Arrow, Okla., and Johnny F. Miller, Stockton; two stepdaughters, Trebea Rouckhouser, Orange Park, Fla., and Dixie JoAnn Beaumaster, San Fernando, Calif.; two sisters, Leona Forbis, Mountain Home, Idaho, and Jaunita McEwen, Lakeside, Ariz.; twelve grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Main Street Christian Church with the Rev. Me. Shepherd officiating; burial in Woodston Cemetery, Woodston. --from Hays (KS) Daily News, 1987.
