Mildred M. Cooper was born Sept. 6, 1888 and departed this life December 30, 1920 at her home south of Plainville.
She was united in marriage to Roy Frazier, December 26, 1906 at the home of her parents near Woodston, Kansas.
To this union was born seven children, Lyle age 13 years, Loy(Lloyd) 10, Leona 8, Juanita 6 and Leslie at the age of 2 yrs. 4 months and 26 days preceeded the mother to the great beyond. He passed away at the Hays hospital August 27, 1919. Lucile was the youngest living, almost two years. Chester was born December 24 (?) 1920 and died December 24, 1920 preceeding the mother only a few days. The mother and two children were all buried in the Woodson cemetery, not far from where they used to live before moving to their present home.
The funeral services were held at the Chalk Mound Church on New Years Day conducted by the Woodston pastor. All that medical aid could do was done and help from friends, neighbors and nurse seemed of no avail, her life's work here was ended. "Dear Mother thou hast left us. With our sorrow and our grief; to God in Heaven above us, we shall seek to find relief. When we sit around the table, and view the vacant chair, we'll look to God above us; and trust you in his care."--from Plainville (KS) Times, 1-6-1921
