Lovell - Herbert (Bert) Beech, 72, died at the Veterans Administration hospital in Cheyenne Saturday. He was a retired farmer and rancher from Kane. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Beech, he was born Sept. 7, 1890, at Munson, Ohio. He came to the Big Horn basin in 1914.

He married Doris Nichols Nov. 12, 1929, in Billings.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Rex Hubbell of Lovell; tow sons, Dennis in the Navy and Arthur of Lovell; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Thomas and Mrs. Lizzie Savage, both of Chadron, Ohio; two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the chapel of the LDS Stake building, with the Bishop Harris Asay officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell city cemetery with the Haskell funeral home in charge.
